Beth on the rocks…

Hi, I’m Beth Peterson and live in the heart of Texas. I retired at the end of 2022 after more than 45 years in the real estate title industry.

This blog is about what I’ve been doing since retiring. I’m trying to do the things that make me happy. I like working on the computer, hence this WordPress site. I like inline speed skating – indoors. I like gardening and working in the yard – which led me to trying my hand at dry stone walling.

Apparently skating and stone walling are probably not age appropriate for me (side-eyes), but both activities make me happy. I’ve been warned that I won’t be able to skate or move rocks around if I end up in a wheel chair. Shoot, I won’t be able to do them if I’m dead either. People do things that might not be safe but make them happy. It’s fine! Life is too short not to try things that make you happy. Or scare you. Live it.
